Chad's Mustang Hildalgo

Chad and Cory were in a car accident last night, no one was hurt but Chad's car Hildalgo. Looks like she's a total loss. Here are some pics

A guy pulled from the turning lane right in front of Chad, he was not able to stop before hitting him in the passenger side, it was the other guys fault, which helps. But Chad is so upset about his car, he's not even been driving for six months.

Dad's New Toy

Dad finally bought himself a Vette. It's Black with black interior. It's in real good condition inside and out. I sure hope they have fun with it. The boys are trying to talk him into taking it to the track.

Dragstrip

Richard and Kyle rode in the Cobra; Chad, Cory and Ed rode in Chad's car; Me, mom and dad rode in dad's truck. We got there early, so the guys were each able to make a good amount of passes. They both did very good, this was Chad's first time running at the track and he did a great job.

Short trip to Myrtle Beach

We decided to go to the beach for a quick get away. We stayed at a nice hotel on the 15th floor, which was very windy. Kyle loved the lazy river. The hotel had a bedroom and a living room with a bed and pull out sofa, and a full kitchen.
It was chilly, we walked on the beach, but just a short walk.
We also had a chance to go to the flea market. Not much to see, I think we bought peanuts, but not much else.

Cory's Mustang

We just purchased another car for Cory, this will be his third. This one was good enough to drive home. We picked it up about an hour from home. It did fine driving home, it will need a few things done to it, but other than that, it's a nice little car.

Tiled Heath's house

Our friend Heath just had a house built and wanted the bath and kitchen tiled. We did around the tub and a small area in the kitchen above the sink.

Kyle's Birthday Party

Kyle wanted to have his birthday party out on the land. So he invited some friends and we hung out during the day, the boys played air soft and the adults were able to visit. The couple that came are Pam and Bill we met from the cruise we went on in Dec. They live 15 minutes from our land.

It was still a little chilly, but we all had a good time. Kyle, Richard and two friends camped out.

Kyle's Birthday Camp Out

We went out to dinner with mom and dad, then after Richard, Kyle, Miles and Kyle went back out to the land and stayed the night in a tent. They had a fire and played games, they had a real good time, all though Richard keeps telling me I owe him one.

First Cobra ride of the year

Richard took me on a surprise ride today, I didn't know where we were going. We stopped at this quaint little store and had to have a picture.

We ended up in Chimney Rock, we walked around, visited the shops and had lunch at Jenny's. It was a great day for a ride, the car did great and we had a good time.

Visiting Larry and Shelly

We went to visit Larry and Shelly this weekend. It was our first time getting to see there home, it's a cute place, on a ton of land and right behind them is the Blue Ridge Parkway.
