After we walked the festival twice, we drove to the Pisgah forest. We thought about going to sliding rock, but every pull off was crowded so we skipped it. We drove up the Blue Ridge Parkway some and stopped at a few overlooks.

Apple Fest, Car show
Today we took the kids to Hendersonville to the annual Apple Fest. They had apple everything, apple slushies, apple wedges, fried apple pies, apple ice cream. Of course we had to try most of it, it was a small little fest, with the usual craft stands, I didn't find anything I had to have. They had different bands playing and I wanted to listen to one that was playing Sunday night, but since Richard had to work on Monday we just decided to go earlier.
