Hill Climb/ Eagle's Nest

Here is the awesome playground at Eagle's Nest made from natural materials, logs, rope, rock. Oh, to be a kid again.

Hill Climb

We went to Banner Elk this weekend to a hill climb. We had a friend that ran in this event in his #17 Cobra. He was just too fast for me to get his picture. But here are some other cars that ran this weekend.

Library at Eagle's Nest

The Library at Eagle's Nest, it was just amazing inside this place, all around the outside is a deck, with a fabulous view and sculptures all around it.

There are tee pee's at Ealges Landing that can be rented. They each have these cool fire pits. Chad is sitting on the throne in front of a fire pit.

New Additions

here are some new bags I just finished. I just love the raggy effect. This first one has apples and ABC's with coordinating red fabrics. A great teacher purse or tote.
The next two are just fun and funky
This one has coffee cups in two prints plus reds and blacks to coordinate. I used a red fabric for the inside and it frames each piece nicely. This one has a snap closure.

New Hobby

I've been creating these cute rag purses. They have been so much fun putting together. I have put these on ebay to see how they would do. This pink and leopard print one turned out small. About 7'"x7". Big enough for a little girl to carry, but most women need more room than that. the others are all 10x7 with a 4"gusset, so they have plenty of room in them.

rag quilt

This is my new hobby, I love the rag quilt idea, it's so much fun. This blanket will be our picnic blanket. Not perfect and made of jeans so it will be just right for park days.

we went to the road coarse race today. A friend of ours was running his yellow cobra, here he is in the pictures. It was the first time we'd been to one. They set up the track in a parking lot. It was pretty neat. Mom and dad went with us, we all had a good time
