embroidery and found items

This Wednesday doggie is my first finished towel, It's not perfect but I did learn as I go and it was fun.



Shopping at a local thrift store I found the items above. Two purple and yellow doilies and the embroidered pillow case. I have been on the lookout for items to put in the house once it's done.

Projects

I bought these cases at a thrift store last week. I am looking to alter them, but have not decided it I will use fabric, paper, etc.

This one has great pockets inside, I'm excited to make it even prettier. I also picked up this nice blue case, I'm thinking of altering it as well.

This is my first quilt top I've ever made, I still need to put a backing on it, but really do not have the room to lay it out, I do need to finish it. It has stars and stripes with red, blue and cream colors.
