Cobra Christmas Party

Richard and I took Kyle with us to the Cobra Christmas show, so we drove the truck and not our car. It was a good turnout, about 24 cars showed with thier owners. It was a good time, talking to old friends and meeting new ones. We had a wonderful dinner provided by the Whitby group.

Christmas at Mom and Dad's

Christmas tree at mom's house. We cut our budget back this year, so the presents are not impressive as years past, but I don't think anyone seemed to notice.

Shelby in her Christmas hat, cute, but she didn't really like it on.

We stayed at mom and dad's Christmas eve so we could all do Christmas morning together. Mom got a waffle maker so we made homemade waffles for breakfast. Kyle got a remote control rock climber which he had to drive as soon as it was charged up. This was #1 on his gift list. So he was mighty happy.

Kyle also got a 4 wheeler which he was very surprised about, this was not even on his Christmas list. Everyone went riding together. This is him finding the 4wheeler in the shed.

Cory wearing his Christmas clothes. They got a few clothes this year, so they should be good for some time.

Sheila and Reggie came over and brought Austin, so he was able to ride with them for a while. Dad is chewing on a piece of jerky that we made him for Christmas. I was playing with my new camera and was enhancing the red, it brought out the red in Reg's shirt and other items.

Trip to Tennessee

This was our drive to Tennessee to pic up an axle from a Cobra friend. We didn't have alot of time to spend so we took the busy roads to get there, luckily the drive was still beautiful.

We made it

We met up with our Cobra friend and our first order of business was lunch. So he took us to this great local place in the town where is works.

Then we had him take us on a tour of the area. we stopped at a few overlooks and we saw some of the most beautiful countryside.

On the way home we drove some more beautiful countryside with some great windy roads.
We even stopped for some photo ops. We enjoy most driving on the back roads, the ones less traveled, able to stop at quaint places at a moments notice. Places you would never know existed if you never got off the interstates and highways.
