The PTG Spring Formal

The Kid's second homeschool prom in two weeks. This one was more formal so you will see the guys in their jackets.

PTG Prom part 2

They went to dinner at the Chinese Bistro

We found this cute pond for a backgroundCory brushing his teeth outside the truck, at least he thought of everything

Then we stopped at this church that had great props.

We also stopped at a local historical battle ground to get a photo with the old fence as a background.

The PTG formal part III

This is the location of the spring formal. It's a community center in a nearby small town. They had a live band, video and a photographer. They had a great time, this one allowed more slow dancing.

Zoe Gala

The kids' first prom.

They danced the night away.

They all had the london broil except Addalie who wanted to try the vegetarian plate.

There they go..and to think it was just yesterday...

Local Park Day

We went to one of our local parks, it's so pretty this time of year. We had a picnic and a hike.

Greenway

This first white house is the nature center.

This white house with the silo is the barn. they have functions here, like BBQ cook offs, dancing. It can even be rented for weddings, it's very nice.

We went for a hike at our local greenway today.

The animals were out, it was a great spring day.

The cabin is part of an old historical path that would have been used in the 1800's

4H club

Kyle's 4H club went on a field trip to a bee keepers home. We heard all about bees, Kyle even got to hold a bee.

He has a wonderful back yard full of fruit trees for the bees, he also had two chestnut trees.

Trip to Zoo

We went to the zoo today with some friends, most of the animals were just kinda hanging out.

The bears were wrestling.

They even had penguins, pretty neat.

The zoo has a nice river you go over to get to the gardens. This is a shot from there.

Biltmore Estate

We went to the Biltmore Estate with my parents. Cory stayed home cause he was not feeling well.

We toured the house, vineyard and looked at the stables, although they were not open yet.

It was a very windy day out, although the rain held off while we were outside.

The barn was beautiful, the roof had a nicely aged metal roof with rain chains that went into the barrels.

Kyle's Birthday Party

For Kyle's birthday we went to Zoom Fun Zone. The kids played video games, mini golf and rode go-carts.
