Shelby's first Vet visit

I took Shelby to the vet today and she checked out well. No problems. She now weighs 12.4lbs. She has gained a pound since we picked her up. She is now 8 weeks old.

Visit to Roanoke

We went to visit family in Roanoke for Memorial Day. Mom and dad were already up there, so we surprised them. Linda and Rick both go to drive dad's vette, they enjoyed it. Linda has always like them.

Shelby did real good and enjoyed visiting everyone and seeing new things. Everyone liked her real well. It was a long 5 day weekend, but we enjoyed it.

Chad's Mustang

This is the work Chad has done to his car since the accident, we are still waiting on the insurance company to get money to fix it.

New Addition

This is our new puppy her name is Shelby, we drove to Laura Kennels in Florida to pick her up. she is such a sweet girl.

She is 7 weeks and 11.2 lbs.

Fishing Trip

The guys went on their annual fishing trip. They were gone for four days, they all had a good time even though the boys did not really want to go. They come home with a bunch of fish that filled the freezer. Chad even got to wakeboard.

The Mitty Georgia

Richard and I drove down to a road race/car show in Georgia this weekend. We took the Cobra down and fit everything in the trunk to camp for the weekend.

There were alot of beautiful cars there for the car show and some nice ones racing as well. We met up with half a dozen other Cobra owners and camped next to a couple. We had a great time and even went out for ice cream with them. Phillip made us breakfast every morning, it was a great way to start the day.

Richard and I went out to eat at this local place, it was called Pecker's Restaraunt. We ate outside on the patio, the food was good and the people were nice. It's a nice little town, I would like to go back just to visit the town. There were antique stores and cute little shops.

Chad's Mustang Hildalgo

Chad and Cory were in a car accident last night, no one was hurt but Chad's car Hildalgo. Looks like she's a total loss. Here are some pics

A guy pulled from the turning lane right in front of Chad, he was not able to stop before hitting him in the passenger side, it was the other guys fault, which helps. But Chad is so upset about his car, he's not even been driving for six months.

Dad's New Toy

Dad finally bought himself a Vette. It's Black with black interior. It's in real good condition inside and out. I sure hope they have fun with it. The boys are trying to talk him into taking it to the track.

Dragstrip

Richard and Kyle rode in the Cobra; Chad, Cory and Ed rode in Chad's car; Me, mom and dad rode in dad's truck. We got there early, so the guys were each able to make a good amount of passes. They both did very good, this was Chad's first time running at the track and he did a great job.

Short trip to Myrtle Beach

We decided to go to the beach for a quick get away. We stayed at a nice hotel on the 15th floor, which was very windy. Kyle loved the lazy river. The hotel had a bedroom and a living room with a bed and pull out sofa, and a full kitchen.
It was chilly, we walked on the beach, but just a short walk.
We also had a chance to go to the flea market. Not much to see, I think we bought peanuts, but not much else.
