Cobra Christmas Party

We went to the Whitby's Christmas Party. They had it after Christmas and after New Years but it was still a Christmas party. As cold as it was there were still a good bit of cars that showed up. Of course non of the guys that drove there cars to the party had there wifes with them. We didn't bring ours since we brought the kids.

This black one on jackstands is a Factory Five 33' in progress.

This blue on is a Factory Five GTM

This black one is a handbuilt car that was driven here tonight, it was pretty neat, with an old glass doorknob for a shifter. That was my favorite part.

This red w/ white strips is a ERA GT40 closest kit to an original GT40. The owner of this car wrote the book 'How to build a high performance small block ford engine' which we happen to own. Richard spoke to him a little and enjoyed how knowledgable he was.

what's that Chevy doing with all these Fords? lol, it is one bad car.

These are a few of the cars being built by Whitby. The grey primered car in the back is a Daytona Coupe.

Cutting Fire Wood

Mom and Dad went with me out to the land today, dad had to pick up some equipment we had out there and his four wheelers. While we were out there dad cut up some wood for us and we loaded the back of the suburban up. This should hold us for a few days. Glad to have folks that will help you out. Richard was working and the kids were all busy.

Snow Tubing

Richard had an idea to drive up to the mountains today and see if we could find some snow. I had been wanting to go to the Mast General Store so I agreed. Then we thought it would be fun to take the kids snow tubing. Kyle called a couple of friends and we headed out.
We found snow, the roads were pretty good and only two hours from home did we run into lots of snow.

Here is the crowd snow tubing. We had to wait for the 6pm session.

The kids were all bundled up and ready to go.
The sun setting over the snow covered mountain was nice to watch. The kids were having fun before they even got on the snow.
before the next session the plow ran over the lanes a few times, it was getting dark before the kids were able to get out on the snow and the pics were all too dark to tell who is in them.
Everyone had a great time, we stopped to eat on the way home and got back before midnight. All in all it was a good day trip. The boys had a good time goofing off at dinner.

Christmas Morning

We had a late start on presents this morning. Richard had to wait on someone to get to work. He got home after 10. the kids were close to having a fit. But they made it through. We all had coffee and hot cocoa with the Keurig mom bought me for Christmas.

Chad and Casey bought Kyle this present and tried to fool him by wrapping it in a box and taping it good. He had a time getting into it.
Kyle, Richard and Chad all got new mp3 players. Richard has never had one and was thrilled with his. I had already put music on memory cards for them to get them started.

Richard got tools, are you surprised? if all else fails, buy Richard tools.

Kyle and Chad both got airsoft guns with accessories. They plan on doing some serious playing.

We'll Miss You Uncle Bill

Our Uncle Bill passed today in a car accident. In this picture at our wedding he was happy and carefree. We'd like to remember him that way, all his funny stories and confident, bousterous laugh. We will miss you.

Surprise Two

I went with Cory and Wyndie to her first dr.s appointment. She had another sonogram done. She is at 9weeks 3days. The doctor says the baby is healthy, what more could we ask for.

Cayden and baby Cor-Wyn will be about three months apart, I hope they will be friends as well as cousins. I loved being close to my cousins growing up, of course I had so many of them.
