We went to Chimney Rock Park today. It was a perfect day for it. There was a breeze and it wasn't crowded. We have driven through Chimney Rock tons of times, even stopped at the shops, but this is our first visit to the chimneys.
My camera's battery died, so we had to purchase a couple of disposable cameras, that's the reason these pics aren't as good as they could have been.

They also enjoyed rock climbing and climbed every rock they could.

Chimney Rock IS a LOT of fun. I took Greg there once when he was about nine. I bet he would enjoy re-visiting it now. Hard to believe that he is nearly 21.
